NUDE has begun development on an SPF, however due to the recent shakeup in the EU regulations for sunscreens we have delayed development to see what these changes might mean for the natural industry. Currently the options available for a truly natural SPF are titanium and zinc; both fantastic at protecting against UVB radiation, but not so strong against UVA.
NUDE do not want to compromise and launch a synthetic SPF and we wouldn’t want to launch a product that doesn’t offer a board SPF protection and didn’t meet the EU regulations. However with the recent changes to EU law it has created a massive fury of development into UVA and UVB broad spectrum SPF’s, and we are confident that a strong natural broad spectrum option that is accepted by the EU soon, as soon as this happens NUDE will begin development again and look forward to bringing you a fantastic natural range of SPF products.
