OK magazine reviews nude skincare's launch in Australia

OK! Australia announces Nude Skincare

February 2009

Getting Nude.

Natural beauty ranges just keep cropping up, but none quite as stylish and high-performance as this. Nude skincare hails from the UK and is the brainchild of organic food expert Bryan Meehan, who also roped Bono’s wife Ali Hewson for her green expertise and supermodel Christy Turlington to test these products. While natural brands often focus on what they don’t contain – sulphates, parabens and mineral oil for example – Nude places just as much importance on what does contain. ‘Even when it’s natural, skin care needs active ingredients that will address concerns like premature ageing.’ Says Bryan. The range uses ingredients such as prebiotics (sugar) and probiotics (good bacteria) to strengthen the skin’s natural biology, as well as botanicals to provide essential fatty acids and other nutrients. It also lives up to its green promise with packaging made from recycled, recyclable and biodegradable materials. Available at Mecca Cosmetica stores nationally.
