Women dress for other women – nowhere more so than on the school run. The mothers at my school are pretty laid-back, thought there are a few high-wattage blondes to make you feel unkempt. The general look aspired to seem’s to be ‘mother of at least three but with teenage body’, which is the hardest to compete with. To get my edge on the first day of autumn term I selected a really good face mask.
