W Magazine on the science behind Advanced Cellular Renewal Moisturiser

Environmentally chic line Nude gets serious about combatting aging with the strongest antioxidant yet.

Having earned a loyal following with its essential-oil cleansers and hydrators, Nude, Ali Hewson and Bryan Meehan's probiotic-based skincare line is now taking on ageing. 'I'm older, and I needed something thatlasted through the entire day instead of just until the afternoon,' says Hewson, whose wish prompted Nude's lab coats to create Advanced Cellular Renewal Moisturiser, a luscious, absorbent cream loaded not only with probiotics but with peptides,  hyaluronic acid, and a potent antioxidant called Chinese Immortal-grass complex. 'It's been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, primarily in green tea,' Meehan says.

Unearthing natural ingredients that pack a punch is Hewson and Meehan's obsession, yet proud as the two are of being natural pioneers, they hope their approach won't always be the exception. ' The future for all brands is to think about environmental challenges,' Hewson says. 'People should be able to take for granted that all products are made in a responsible way. This should be the norm.'
